Ἰδοὺ ὁ ἄνθρωπος

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, 

yet he opened not his mouth: 

he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, 

and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, 

so he opened not his mouth.

Ele foi oprimido e afligido, 

mas não abriu a boca; 

como um cordeiro que é levado ao matadouro, 

e como a ovelha que é muda perante os seus tosquiadores, 

assim ele não abriu a boca.

 Oblatus est quia ipse voluit, 

et non aperuit os suum; 

sicut ovis ad occisionem ducetur, 

et quasi agnus coram tondente se obmutescet, 

et non aperiet os suum.
